A Decade of the Munchak Scholarship
Scranton Native, NFL Hall of Famer continues yearly $6,300 Scholarship
Scranton, PA (22-February-2021) – Whether in-person, virtual, or a hybrid combination of both, this 2020-2021 school year has been unique to say the least. However, the United Way of Lackawanna and Wayne Counties is proud to keep one piece of this school year a constant; the Mike Munchak Community Service Scholarship.
Entering its tenth year in existence, this scholarship named for NFL Hall of Famer and Scranton native Mike Munchak and funded by the United Way of Lackawanna and Wayne Counties is currently accepting applications from high school seniors within any Lackawanna and Wayne County school district.
