Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA)
The United Way of Lackawanna, Wayne & Pike is once again offering the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) Program to prepare local, state and federal income tax returns for FREE! There are NO hidden fees or charges - this is a completely FREE Service designed to help people secure all the refunds and credits for which they are eligible. -
Find a Food Pantry
Access essential food services in your community. The United Way partners with local organizations to ensure families in need have access to nutritious meals. Locate a nearby food pantry and learn how you can receive assistance or lend a helping hand to those facing food insecurity. -
2-1-1 Helpline
2-1-1 is an information and referral helpline that connects people to the essential health and human services they need, 24-hours a day, seven days a week. You'll be connected to a community resource specialist who can put you in touch with local organizations that provide critical services to improve and save lives. -

The United Way of Lackawanna, Wayne & Pike and SingleCare Community Service Partnership have collaborated to bring greater stability to our community. -
